Caring for the woollen poncho
Natural wool does not need frequent cleaning. After wear, let the poncho air before folding it away. If the cloth becomes wet, blot excess moisture with a clean towel, reshape the hood, and dry the piece flat away from heat
Follow the care label: do not wash or bleach the poncho, and dry it on a flat surface. Choose professional dry cleaning when a full clean is needed. Blot a small mark gently rather than rubbing the fibres
For long storage, make sure the poncho is clean and completely dry. Fold it into a breathable garment bag and inspect the wool from time to time. Cedar or lavender can be used as an additional measure, but neither replaces clean, enclosed storage
Light pilling may appear where the cloth meets a bag or another garment. Remove it with a wool brush or a fabric shaver on its lowest setting, testing an inconspicuous area first. Do not pull individual fibres
